How to Sign In?
To access your training, you must first sign in to your Learning Management System (LMS) using your unique set of credentials - these being your username and password.
If you've already been setup with an account, you should have received an email containing your unique username, with a link to set/create your own password.
If you DO know your LMS' URL, please navigate to that URL and follow the steps in this article as they will still apply to you (you just won't need to input your credentials twice!).
If you DO NOT know your LMS' URL, or you don't know which LMS your learner account is connected to, please read on!
-
Open your Google Chrome web browser and navigate to the etrainu website: https://www.etrainu.com, and in the upper-right hand corner click the "Log n" button, which will take you to the main etrainu LMS Log In page.
NoteIf you have an American account, please navigate to https://learn-usa.etrainu.com instead.
Input your username (1) and password (2) in the corresponding input fields, then click the "Log in" button (3).
-
If you entered the correct credentials you will be redirected to your LMS' Log In page, where you will need to input your credentials again to actually sign in.
NoteWe recommend saving your LMS URL to your web browser's Bookmarks/Favourites section.
Below are examples of our "etrainu Community" and "etrainu Learn" LMS Log In pages:
If you entered an incorrect username and password combination you will instead be shown an error message: "Sorry, but the login details you provided were incorrect." (1). If you have ensured that you are entering your credentials correctly but are still encountering this error, or you don't know your username and password combination, please click the "Forgot Password?" button (2).
Input either your LMS username (if you know it) or an email address that is linked to one of your LMS accounts into the "Username or email" field (1), then click the "Send" button (2).
-
If you entered a username or email address that is associated with an active account you will be shown a green tick with text saying "A password reset link has been sent to your email address", as per the below screenshot.
NoteIf you entered a username or email address that the system DID NOT recognise, the screen will revert to the initial etrainu Log In page and NO password reset email will be sent.
In a few moments the associated email address will receive an email from "helpdesk@etrainu.com" with the email subject "We have received a request to reset your password".
If you submitted a username you will receive an email that looks like the below screenshot, displaying your account username with a single "Reset Password" button:
If you submitted an email address you will receive an email that looks like the below screenshot, displaying all accounts associated with that email address, each with their own "Reset Link":
-
Once you've clicked the relevant password reset link, a web browser window will open and you will be taken to that account's LMS Password Reset page where you will be able to set/create a new "Strong" or "Very Strong" password in the available input field (1), then click the "Save" button (2).
NoteIf you do not meet at least three requirements, the "Save" button will not be clickable!
After clicking the "Save" button, you will be taken into your LMS account!
If you have already clicked through the "Forgot Password?" link on your LMS login page, and followed the instructions in the email to configure a new password for your account but your new credentials are still not being accepted, please ensure that:
- you do NOT have auto-fill turned on,
- you are attempting to sign in with your account's unique username, instead of email address, and
- you have removed any unintentional 'spaces' before or after your username.
If you still cannot sign into your account your organisation may use an integration known as SSO (Single Sign-On) where your login credentials are stored/managed in a separate identity management system which writes them to the etrainu LMS. If so, you may need to either log into your member's portal first instead of logging into the LMS URL directly, OR you may need to contact your training coordinator at your organisation for assistance with updating/resetting your account password.
If you are still having issues please Submit a Request and our friendly customer support team will assist you during Australian business hours.
